Mobile Developer (Up to 35k + benefits)

Information: Through natural growth we’re looking to expand our current multi-disciplined team with a mobile app developer. This is a great opportunity to have a substantial say in the design as well as development of mobile apps, taking on requirements and putting together clever and practical software designs. You will take an idea from initial concept all the way through to functionality, thus participating in the full development lifecycle. You must have previous proven experience of building and releasing apps and you will need to share your mobile app development skills with other team members.

Skills:


- Objective-C

- iOS SDK using Xcode

- Android

- Web services integration

- HTML5

- CSS

- Fundamentals for OO design patterns, data structures & algorithms

- Understanding of source control techniques (Git)

- Understanding of issue tracking systems (Redmine)


Approach needed:


- Good team player

- Strong communication skills

- Innovative approach to working with new technologies

- Self-starter & enthusiastic about mobile software

Picking Team Leader

Information: Based within the Warehouse at our Bangor Distribution Centre, this position will assist in the overall production and despatch of customers orders.

Java Developer

Information: If you have a passion, ability and track record of working in and around the Java ecosystem, we have space in our multi-disciplined team of 10 developers. You will play a key role in the migration of the current Book People website to a Bootstrap Responsive implementation.

Technical skills:


- Essential: Languages Java J2EE / HTML / Javascript / Responsive Web

- Extremely Useful: CSS, SQL, mobile application development (Android / iOS)

- Desirable: IBM Websphere Commerce v6 / JPA / Spring / Play / GIT / elastic search / JCR / Bootstrap

Information: This key role will require the successful candidate to supervise the smooth running of the warehouse picking/ RH&D operations, ensuring that the business needs and targets are met on a daily basis.
