The book contains over 100 recipes, many beautiful photographs and a range of fascinating anecdotes, making it a book to treasure.

I recently purchased this book despite the only review being a 3*, but having read it, it was more about the cover and not the book, I decided to buy it anyway. It starts with hints and tips, then the basic preserves ie strawberry jam through to the more unusual, it covers so many different preserves, sauces and a section on alcoholic drinks including liqueurs and not just flavoured vodkas. At the back is a section on baking to go with your homemade preserves.
We have made 3 recipes out of it and have only had the book a couple of weeks. Looking forward to making more as the seasons change.
Fantastic book for less than £5.00.

Notes from the Jam Cupboard -
Bought as a present for Christmas. The front cover shown made me look at this book and buy it as I found it to enhance the look of the book. On receiving the book, very disappointed as a totally different cover.
