I got this book because I loved Sarah Keen's earlier Knitted Wild Animals and I haven't been disappointed. These toys are quick to knit, easy to sew up and have been really well received by my kids and various young relatives. There is a good techniques section for beginners and so far I have found the pattern instructions accurate (sadly not always the case in pattern books). The book itself is a visual treat with really cute photos of the toys and quirky "did you know?" facts about the animals. Lovely! I hope she brings out another book soon.

What a lovely book! -
One of my favourite books! Some lovely animal designs that I can't wait to knit for my granddaughter. Provided you have some basic knowledge of knitting you should be able to tackle any of the designs. Each animal has a full page image so that you can see the finished product closely. Each one also has as an introductory paragraph and some surprising "Did you know" facts about the animal, most of which I didn't! A lovely well-illustrated book and one of the nicest books I've purchased recently. I intend to knit every animal!
