Lisa Genova Set - 2 Books (Collection)

Lisa Genova -

For fans of Jodi Picoult, this two-book Lisa Genova set contains Still Alice, a story where Alice's demise through Early Onset Alzheimers is captured brilliantly in her own faltering words and Left Neglected, the story of a woman in her 30s whose life is turned upside down by a terrible car accident. Both novels remind us to be thankful for the many things we take for granted. These are heartbreaking reads that are sure to live long in the memory.

Brilliant topics -

Lisa Genova selects and researches her topics with care and empathy. Both are thought-provoking and tackle the heart of how it feels to deal with these conditions.

Well worth buying -

This has been another good example of the Book People website introducing me to good authors I hadn't previously heard about. I have really enjoyed the "left neglected" book so far. Again it was a condition I was unaware of previously. An easy but very interesting read.

Amazing! -

The most amazing books that really make you think and look at things differently. The best I have read!

"Everyone should read" -

Everyone should read Still Alice, a wonderful book. Left Neglected is good, interesting but not quite as good I felt!

"Very enjoyable" -

I really enjoyed these books, very easy to pick up and interesting concepts. Similar style to Jodi Picoult books however not as long or in-depth as some of Jodi's can be. Great value for the price, I would recommend.
