Blast from the past -

I bought these for my 7-year-old as I remember loving them as a child in the 70s. They have the original illustrations whereas mine had 60s versions. So far we have read 3 of them and my daughter loves them. They are obviously very dated and it makes me laugh to read them (typical Enid Blyton/50s non pc, upper class and very sexist) but my daughter finds them exciting and we read about 8 chapters at a time! Recommend so long as you know what you are getting.

Very exciting -

Remember these as a child, and purchased for my son (6), he loves these books and can read them by himself, he finds the stories very exciting and can't wait to read the next chapter in the morning before school. Good quality books with ilustrations and great value.

Still great today -

Read these in the 1960s. Purchased these for my granddaughter and was not disappointed. They are a brilliant reproduction of the originals. Not only are the covers an exact copy but it is full of the original sketch drawings throughout. Amazing value for money.

My mum actually bought to give away as party bag gifts, they seemed to go down really well and fabulous for the price, just a shame they're numbered.
