This stunning book illustrates the walk that Wainwright devised in 1973, covering rights of way and open access between the Irish Sea and the North Sea. Passing through 3 national parks and a varied range of scenery, the 190 mile walk is one of the most challenging in the country - here you can enjoy it from the comfort of your sofa!

A book to buy once you have completed the walk. Provides a reminder of a fantastic walk. It is full of beautiful photographs and a good route description. It is not a book to take on the walk - it is very big book. If you are looking for a guidebook to take on the walk the Trailblazers guide is probably a good choice.
