I have bought more than one set as it's such good value, but, each time the condition of the box has got worse, I also have to clean the box when it arrives. I wish I could upload photos!

My daughter just received this collection for her first birthday, at the minute I am more excited than she is to read my favourite childhood stories. I'm sure in the years to come she will share my love for these fantastic stories. At such a great price, who could resist!

Was looking for the perfect gift for a friend's newborn and this really is it! Great collection of books in a lovely box which will last for years to come. Every book has lovely colour illustrations as well as it's own dust jacket. Amazing value for money as well - worth every penny and more!

These books are amazing. I received these as a gift, from Book People via my Dad for my 3 year old. 2 years later, the stories are still read, played out, rehashed and asked for again and again and again. Some might think they are old fashioned but I think they actually prepare young readers for the quality children's literature out there. An absolute joy to share and a memory of their childhood to cherish.

The books were delivered when expected. They are delightful, such a beautiful collection and really easy to read in bed as they are small and light. The cardboard box was damaged. I emailed hello@thebookpeople.co.uk with photos of the damaged item and received a speedy reply on the day. I received a new box 2-3 days after. Excellent service, great people, amazingly beautiful books.

I ordered the complete set for myself (84 years old) just before Chistmas, and when my daughter saw them she wanted to borrow them. I have now ordered a set for her (51 years old). They are obviously suitable for all ages.

Saw this at my daughter's school and loved it, so bought it online for my niece and had it delivered for free (which was good) but the packaging box looked as though it had been thrown all over the floor and one corner of the Peter Rabbit's collection box was crushed in and teared down the seam. Was quite disappointed with this.
