About this book collection
The stabbing of irascible General Sir Arthur Billington-Smith fails to stir up grief in anyone - least of all his family, which is no wonder considering the way he had treated them all during the fateful weekend.
He had disinherited his son, humiliated his wife, refused to help his financially stricken nephew and made no secret of his loathing for his son's fiancée, a cabaret dancer. As Inspector Harding picks his way through a mass of familial discontent to find the culprit, he discovers much more besides... The Unfinished Clue is just one of the ten delightful whodunnits in this set from Georgette Heyer, a writer who deserves a place alongside Agatha Christie, Josephine Tey and Margery Allingham.

"Miss Marble's Revenge"
These are excellent, I have read all 10 and was captivated from start to finish. Very witty for their time, and fascinating to see words we thought we'd invented being used in the 20's, i.e. 'funky', and also how attitudes have shifted. Wonderful books and if you are into Agatha Christie or Agatha Raisin (by M C Beaton) I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the plots and twists. Read them and see.
