Was looking for lunchbox ideas BUT realised, also from the pics on book, that not aimed for lunchboxes. At £2 you can't go wrong! Creative and fun to do. Yes, bit fiddly, but who cares? Probably quicker than cooking lunch anyway! Have gone through book making different ones once a week for my 6 yr-old granddaughter for after school - She LOVES them - can't wait for next one! Maybe some of them, clingfilmed on plastic plate should make it intact for school lunch!

"Creative party ideas" -
A sandwich book of very creative party ideas for child-friendly shaped sandwiches. Be aware that the book is only sandwich ideas... if you have lots of time on your hands and a fussy child who will not eat, this will be a good book for you. Personally I was extremely disappointed. Look carefully at the pictures on the cover as that is what the book is about... cutting sandwiches to make monkey, boats, fish shaped food. It has well presented colourful ideas for shaped sandwiches, but not ideal for the school lunchbox.

"Sandwiches only" -
This is not a bad book of sandwich ideas, but do be aware that it is ONLY sandwiches, many of them open, and most not suitable to send in a lunchbox. I thought it would be lunchbox ideas so I was disappointed.
HOWEVER if you mostly make lunch at home and want to jazz it up a bit, or want ideas for party teas, this has beautifully photographed ideas for cool ways to present sandwiches. Look at the cover pictures - that is what you are getting - lots of cool looking sandwiches. If that's what you're looking for, it is well presented and creative.Joanne Thorley ( 17/09/2010)
