Deception (Paperback)

Jonathan Kellerman -

When Elise Freeman is found dead, a DVD found near her chronicles a year-and-a-half-long ordeal of lurid and monstrous abuse from three sadistic tormentors. Even more shocking is the revelation that the offenders, like their victim, are teachers at a prestigious LA prep school. Milo Sturgis joins forces with Dr Alex Delaware once more as the case promises to be an uphill climb for truth. The duo have to penetrate the citadel of wealth and scholarship to expose the dirty secrets and deadly sins festering amongst LA's elite. But power and position are not easily surrendered. Deception is a memorable and intriguing psychological thriller from Jonathan Kellerman that covers the murky side of the wealthy.

"A very satisfying read" -

I'm fairly new to crime novels but I found that Deception grabbed my interest from the start and held me in it's fascinating grip to the very last words. I was entranced by the author's mastery of so many characters and their distinctive voices and well impressed by the satisfying way he neatly tied up all the loose ends.
