My six year old son and three year old daughter LOVE this book. He is not a willing reader - more interested in maths/techie skills (hence loves creating with LEGO) but he happily spends hours reading this and the Star Wars Character Encyclopedia and I think these books have sparked an interest in reading. The high print quality on glossy paper is great too, wipe clean (within reason) and fairly sturdy but not totally tear-proof when two little ones want different pages.... but few books are!

"Great instead of a party bag!" -
I bought a number of these to give to my 7 year old sons friends at the end of his birthday trip out. They were over the moon! Every one of them loved it, and it is so much better value than a plastic bag of tat!

"Recipient loves it!" -
I don't really get this book, but my 7 year son, who saved up his pocket money for it, loves it. As we read the Harry Potter books together, he keeps stopping and looking various bits and bobs up in this book!

"Great Book" -
My son, aged 9, received this book for Christmas, and it has been all we expected and more. It is filled with lots of great information, is interesting to look at and read, and we've all spent lots of time poring over it. My son has been inspired to try to recreate some of the smaller sets, and overall we've all been impressed with the quality of the book and the info it contains. This is the first Lego book we've had, but will definitely keep our eyes open for more!

"Who is this for?" -
What a strange book - it is more like a catalogue than anything else. Unless you already have most of the Harry Potter LEGO sets this book will simply lead to frustration. Not at all what I wanted - one of the pitfalls of ordering online! The language is suitable for older teens and adults, so I can only imagine that this book was really written for employees of LEGO to show off their skills.
