Add reviewReally Poor -
I bought this for my 7-year-old son who is mad about LEGO. Unfortunately this book only gives you pictures of the completed item, rather than the instructions. In addition, each section starts with an item page, that shows what pieces you need for the various builds and despite having a very large LEGO collection, we have yet to find a section where we actually have all the required pieces. My son is really frustrated with this book. Very Poor!!

A great book -
I really like this book. I look at it all the time because it is full of great ideas and it helps me to make things from my imagination.

Full of great ideas -
This book does exactly what it says on the front - it gives you ideas. My son loves this book, which was given to him for Christmas. He is only 4, but already loves LEGO and goes straight to the cars and vehicles section!

"Disappointing" -
My son and I were really looking forward to this book to give us ideas on what to build, however when it arrived we quickly realised that instead of instructions on how to build things, instead the pages just have pictures of Lego. However, my husband loves the book and has got loads of ideas from the pictures. So, if you're already good at build things with Lego and just want some inspiration then this book is good, but if you need instructions on how to build things this book is a no-go.

"Also disappointed" -
My mother bought this book for my son for Christmas. We may yet be surprised but having looked through it, both she and I are extremely disappointed. If I'd wanted a Lego marketing brochure, I'd have contacted their sales department. I am surprised that DK has stooped to this. My 8-year-old, who is bright and very good at building things, will, I suspect, find this book frustrating and difficult to follow. It's Coffee Table publishing at its worst.

"Love it!" -
I ordered 4 or five of these as they make excellent childrens' birthday presents for the all the parties my kids have been invited too. The feedback from those parents has all been very positive: "Nice to open something that's useful, keeps them occupied and is not a toy". They also look more expensive than they are!

"Excellent!" -
My son loves this book and he has spent hours looking and building. He loves the book, even though it does not have step-by-step instructions, as he is able to guess how to build the models. Very happy with my purchase.

"Brilliant, but not for younger Lego fans" -
Given this book a 5 star, as I love it, for an adult or an older child (8 year old +) it is brilliant and really shows what you can do with Lego. Unfortunately, I had got the book for my 6 year old son, but would just frustrate him as there is no way he can make the stuff shown. But it is such a good book that I will put it up for a year and then when he is big enough for it he will love it. Well worth getting!

"Fabulous" -
Fabulous book for all Lego fans. It is a real source of inspiration for any collector of Lego who has a massive box of the stuff but cannot think what to make with it all! My 8 year old was thrilled with this. A fantastic price for a stunning book.

"Disappointed" -
This book is a lovely presented book, but I purchased this book for my grandaughter who loves her lego on the description of the book. Due to the description I was of the opinion that the book contained instructions on how to build the models in the book, I was very disappointed upon receiving the book today to find no instructions in the book on how to build any of the models. I feel very disappointed and let down, I hope the Book People will review their description of this book for the future.
TBP says: We apologise that you were disappointed with your purchase, we will amend the description as the book is focused around ideas rather than step-by step instructions.

"Lego Fans a must" -
This book has some brilliant ideas - I dont think it shows you the exact way of making the models in the book but it does show good colourful pictures so you can have a go yourself.
