I am really pleased with these books, they really are exactly how I think children's books should be - well written, beautifully illustrated and appealing to little ones and parents alike. The text is excellent, with a lovely rhythm to it (but there's not too much of it!) and the stories are all perfect for little children. The books are top quality, these versions are a tiny bit smaller (but I think that's an advantage - I hate wrestling with enormous books), and a snip at £9.99 - I would happily have paid twice as much. A must buy.

"A gorgeous collection" -
I ordered this collection for the pre-school I work in and these stories are perfect for this age group. These stories really capture the imagination of the children and are a pleasure to read over and over. All are beautifully illustrated by various artists, again demanding the attention of the children. Wonderful, classic tales at a bargain price!
