"Fab cookbook!" -
Imaginative, tasty veggie recipes without being complicated. No long lists of obscure ingredients here! If you grow your own veg then this book is perfect for ideas on how to use gluts of courgettes or beetroot to make some really tasty dishes. Highly recommended.

Really great recipes that don't take forever to make, loved the North African stew, so tasty! The best veggie cookbook I have come across in ages.

"I love meat, but I love this book!" -
This book is excellent! I wanted to try meat-free Mondays but felt like I needed some help with recipes as we normally have meat or fish with every meal. I've made a few dishes so far and they were all really tasty. Just looking through the book makes me want to eat veg! Some of the recipes are easily changed to make them lower fat but without losing the taste. I've found it's also good when you buy veg that is in season, and so cheaper and tastier, but are not sure what to do with it to make it exciting. I would highly recommend this book.

I've been a vegetarian for almost 30 years, and it's easy to fall back on old favourites. This book has loads of straightforward yet delicious-looking recipes and is well written and presented. I'm ordering a second one for a gift! NB As Hugh F-W says, you don't need to be a vegetarian to enjoy these dishes.

My husband bought this book for me and it is fantastic, as a vegetarian for the last four years I was getting short on ideas, this book has loads of amazing meals, I have made six different meals from it in the last two weeks and all have been delicious and easy, the flatbread and pizza dough is so easy to make and comes out perfectly. Hugh is definitely my new food hero, perfect book for vegetarians.
