From Jodi Picoult, the author of My Sister's Keeper, comes another fascinating dilemma and emotional roller coaster in Lone Wolf. When Luke Baxter is involved in an accident which leaves him in a coma, his family gather together for the first time in years to face an impossible situation. His daughter is willing to fight everyone and everything to save his father's life, but his estranged son can't imagine a man who once ran with wolves could ever be happy with a different life and believes they should let him go. Together they must make this near-impossible decision. Full of believable characters, this is a riveting and thought-provoking read from a popular, award-winning author.

Thought-provoking -

Once you have got to know the main characters, this book is compelling. I found it hard to put down, wanted to know what was going to happen. Made me think about those near and dear... a great read!

Thought-provoking -

As always Jodi paints a story which comes to life in your mind as you read it. It is a little hard to get into in the first few chapters, but pushing through them brings you to a story you will find hard to put down.

What a story! -

Jodi is an amazing writer and her latest is an incredible book. Luke is a man who has devoted most of his life to his beloved wolves, and this has led to fragmented relationships with his family. A tragic accident brings the family together, and as Luke lies in a coma we find out more their relationships, as well as more about Luke and his love of wolves. Meanwhile the family face an agonising decision over Luke's future that splits them apart once more... A powerful novel and an emotional rollercoster as Jodi explores human relationships and moral dilemmas. Tremendous research has gone into this amazing story. Recommended to anyone who enjoys a gripping read.
