Not worthwhile -

I am amazed that this was a bestseller or that there is the title 'Queen of Suspense' given to the author. I only got through the first book, Daddy's Little Girl. Very obvious, somewhat forced, little character development, nor really worth the effort.

Not dreadful, though, with the words in roughly the right order, so manages two stars.

Read and see -

These books I enjoyed much better than I thought they would be and so now I'm wanting to read all her other books too and will.

Very good -

These books are much better than I thought they would be. No Place Like Home and The Street Where You Live Kept me guessing until the last chapters. The Shadow of Your Smile was OK but a bit more predictable than the others. Looking forward to reading more Mary Higgins Clark. Thank you Book People.
