This book was bought as a present for my 5 yr old and is fab. I read it to my daughter with lots of expression and she absolutely loves it! The illustrations are brilliant if a little quirky. A huge hit in our household.

Bought this set for our daughter for Xmas as she loves Charlie and Lola. Thought it would be nice to try a couple of other Lauren Child books as well but was disappointed when it arrived and only contains three Charlie and Lola titles. If your child likes Charlie and Lola buy the other set of 10 books instead.

My 3 year old daughter forces me to read at least 3 of these books per night they're that good, so be warned! She is now able to "read" me the stories, word for word, and has a particular liking for the little wolf with the eye patch wearing Cinderella's dress! The illustrations are fantastic and the stories have great twists on the traditional fairy tales - great for adults and children alike, so you won't really mind reading them again and again and again add infinitum.... I love them, I must admit!

I bought these books for a group of 4 year olds and each book is as well loved as the last. When ever asked which book shall we read Charlie and Lola is ALWAYS the first choice. A great buy.
