A good introduction to some classic children's fiction, but be aware that most of the books are abridged - some by sensitive cutting out of lines without losing meaning, but some through the loss of whole chapters. Tony Robinson's reading of The Jungle Book is excellent but covers only the first three stories. Geofrrey Palmer reading A Christmas Carol is a delight and on its own justifies four stars at least!
