Best cake book ever! -
I love this book. All the cakes are do-able, there is nothing tricky or difficult but some are more time-consuming than others to make. My husband is not a keen cake maker but he made the lime and pistachio cake which is on the front cover for our anniversary. It was amazing and looked and tasted so good.

The Clandestine Cake Club -
This is one of the best cake-baking books I have bought. The recipes are fabulous and there are simple cakes for everyday teatime treats, as well as cakes that will take you a bit longer, but will definitely be worth it! Everything I have baked from this book has turned out really well. The Lemon Meringue Cake is to die for, as is the Chocolate Truffle Cake! If you love baking, you'll love this.

Good enough to eat! -
This book is amazing. If you like trying out different things then this is the book for you. The recipes are really varied and go from really simple to more complex cakes so there is really something for everyone. I have tried out a few so far and have not been disappointed. Can't wait to try out the Chocolate and Marmite Caramel Cake and the Lemon, Parsnip and Hazelnut Cake....yum!

Unusual but delicious! -
It is very rare to find a cake book where I want to make every recipe. What struck me about this book is the blend of simple recipes but unusual flavours. I have made 4 cakes so far and have not been disappointed; the grapefruit loaf has already become a family favourite.

Excellent book! -
This is fab - innovative ideas, appealing recipes ad everything I've made thus far has worked. Try the Tia Maria & Marscapone Cake, you won't regret it!

A Beautiful Cake Cookbook -
I bought this book because I was taken with the idea of a Clandestine Cake Club - I hadn't heard of the group until I came across the cookbook.
I wasn't sure what to expect, and was extremely impressed. It is a beautifully presented cookbook, with a wide variety of cake recipes, including familiar classics, extravagant celebration cakes and some more wacky and wild creations, all contributed by members of the various Clandestine Cake Clubs around the country.
A lovely baking book with a specific focus on full sized cakes, I would highly recommend this.
