I have a 13-year-old who doesn't always think like his peers so the subject matter in this book was great for him. To see so many people overcoming adversity has given him confidence. He isn't a big reader but enjoys the factual narrative of biographical stories. Each person has just one page dedicated to them so it is jam packed with facts about their lives. I admit it won't be to everyone's taste but my son has really enjoyed it!
Good for boys who need to see it's okay to be different -
Our eldest struggles at school and socially and this book has inspired him that he's fine just as he is and he can try hard and go on to do amazing things.

Stories for boys who dare to be different -
Great stories for my son to read and see everyone is different and that is ok.
Sent back -
Having seen and liked the 'rebel' book for girls, I bought three copies of this at the offer price of £5.99 and am sorry to say I was very disappointed. The book is written from a negative perspective and mentions how certain figures endured abuse and were bored at school. I had to send the books back as they were unsuitable for my 5- and 7-years olds and their friends.
