Anne Holt

Anne Holt is an author of Nordic crime thrillers including the "Hanne Wilhelmsen" series and the Vik/Stubo crime novels. Born in Larvik, Norway on 16 November, 1958, before becoming an author Anne worked for Oslo's police department and was even the minister of justice for the Norwegian prime minister during the mid-90s.

Anne Holt's first novel was published in 1993 and she has now sold over 7 million copies worldwide. She counts the likes of Scottish author Val McDermid among her fans.
