Chris Riddell

Winner of two Kate Greenaway medals and current Children's Laureate, Chris Riddell is a children's book author and illustrator with a very distinctive and impressive style and imagination. Born in Cape Town in 1962 and inspired by illustrators and authors including Quentin Blake and Arnold Lobel, Chris Riddell was tutored by Raymond Briggs at art school and counts the Edge Chronicles among his most popular books.
