Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. The Book People
Born on 1 January, 1971, Conn Iggulden writes historical fiction and was also the co-author of the bestselling Dangerous Book for Boys. He studied English at the university of London and taught the subject at Haydon School - where one of his students happened to be Fearne Cotton.
He left teaching to write his first novel, The Gates of Rome, in 2003. This book kicked off the Emperor series and Conn is also the author of the Conquerer series, which follows the lives of Ogedai, Kublai and Genghis Khan. Conn lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and children.
