Dan Brown

Daniel Gerhard Brown was born on 22 June, 1964 in Exeter, New Hampshire and is best known for his bestselling books featuring Robert Langdon – The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons and Inferno – which were adapted into films starring Tom Hanks and directed by Ron Howard.

Many of Dan Brown's books have generated controversy due to their Christian elements, but they have sold over 80 million copies and earned him over £140 million. Known for his intricate plotting, treasure hunts and characters inspired by real people, Dan Brown was a singer-songwriter before moving into books.
