David Nicholls

David Nicholls was born on 30 November, 1966 in Eastleigh and is best known for the popular books Starter for Ten, One Day and Us. As well as being an author, he is also a scriptwriter and has worked on the likes of Cold Feet, the BBC’s adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing and Bridget Jones’ Baby.

He starred in many productions while at college and also trained as an actor in New York before deciding to change his career path and writing Starter for Ten, a novel that was published in 2003.
