Gerald Seymour

Gerald Seymour was born on 25 November, 1941 in Guildford, Surrey and was educated in Devon. He earned a degree in Modern History at University College London.

After graduating, he worked as a journalist for ITN and covered world-changing events including the Great Train Robbery and the Vietnam War. A full-time writer since 1978, many of his books, including Harry’s Game, A Line in the Sand and The Glory Boys have been adapted into TV dramas.
