Best known for the Harry and the Dinosaurs series, author Ian Whybrow has actually written over 100 children’s books and his work has been published in 27 different languages across 28 different countries. Before becoming an author, Ian worked in secondary education teaching English, drama and eventually progressing to headmaster.
Born on 3 May, 1941 in Gillingham, Kent, he grew up in Margate and Hong Kong. He now lives in Harrow and enjoys walking, swimming, cycling reading and the theatre. Having published books since 1989, Ian is highly regarded for his ability to tell inventive and original stories.
