Ken Follett

Born on 5 June, 1949 in Cardiff, Ken Follett has sold over 150 million copies of his books worldwide and has had various New York Times bestsellers including Pillars of the Earth and Fall of Giants.

Barred from watching films and TV while growing up, Ken developed a love of reading from a very early age and worked in journalism and in publishing before writing 1978’s Eye of the Needle – which quickly became a worldwide bestseller. He is a member of many literary and writing organisations.
