Laura Ingalls Wilder

Laura Ingalls Wilder was born on 7 February, 1867 and died on 10 February, 1957. The author of the timeless Little House on the Prairie series, her writing was loosely based on her childhood in Wisconsin as part of a settler and pioneer family. Adapted into a classic TV series during the late 1970s and early '80s, Laura worked as a teacher before becoming an author.
