M.J. Arlidge

Matthew Alridge was born on 10 October, 1974 in London and is an author and TV presenter. Writing crime novels under the name M.J. Arlidge, he is the creator of the crime novels starring DI Helen Grace. His first novel, Eeny Meeny, was published in May 2014.

M.J. Arlidge studied for an English literature degree at St John's College in Cambride and then studied film and television production at Bristol University. He has written for many shows, including Eastenders and Monarch of the Glen.
