Marie Lu

Marie Lu is an American author born on 11 July, 1984 in China and is best-known for the Young Elites and Legend series of books. She moved to Texas when she was 5 and attended the University of Southern California before interning at Disney Interactive Studios as a Flash artist.

She now lives in Los Angeles with her family and dogs and enjoys reading, drawing and playing Assassin’s Creed when not writing dystopian fiction.
