Mick Inkpen

The author and illustrator of classic children's books including Kipper the Dog and Wibbly Pig, Mick Inkpen was born in Romford, Essex in 1952. He has won many awards throughout his career and lives in Essex with his wife and two children.

He worked as a graphic designed and in children's TV before publishing The Blue Balloon in 1989.
