Established historian and author of the Tudor Court and “Cousins’ War” series, Philippa Gregory is a hugely popular author whose work has been adapted into popular films like The Other Boleyn Girl and TV shows including the BBC’s The White Queen.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya on 9 January, 1954, Philippa Gregory studied English and History at the University of Sussex and earned a doctorate in 18th century literature from the University of Edinburgh. Her international bestseller, The Other Boleyn Girl, was published in 2001 and won the Romantic Novel of the Year award in 2002. She now lives on a small Yorkshire farm and keeps horses, hens and ducks. In 1993, she established the charity Gardens for the Gambia and has now raised funds for almost 200 wells for schools in this country.
