Robert Muchamore

Born on 26 December, 1972 in London, Robert Muchamore is the author of bestselling novels including the CHERUB books and Henderson’s Boys series. His action-packed books are huge favourites with young readers who are too old for children’s books but not quite old enough for adult novels. He started writing CHERUB to inspire his 12-year-old nephew to start reading again.

Robert had plans to become an architect, but when he discovered it would take seven years of training, he changed his mind. His first book, CHERUB: The Recruit was published in April, 2004 and he has also written Rock War - a series about four groups of kids trying to make it in the music business.
