One of the world's most famous divers, twice Bronze-winning Olympian Tom Daley was born in Plymouth on 21 May, 1994. He received his medals at the Olympic Games in both 2012 and 2016.
Coached by Jane Figueirdo, he has also won Gold at the World Championships in 2009 and 2015. Tom won Young Sports Personality of the Year in 2007 and is a huge YouTube sensation with his channel having over 390,000 subscribers. He has been in a relationship with screenwriter Dustin Lance Black since 2014 and they married in 2017.
