Tom Palmer

An author known for his football stories for children including Foul Play (shortlisted for the Blue Peter Book Award), Tom Palmer's stories appeal to reluctant readers as they combine sports like soccer, rugby and cricket with mysteries and crime.

Tom lives in Yorkshire and runs activities that encourage children to read through their love of football. Hs has written over 40 books including the Football Academy and Rugby Academy series and has been the writer-in-residence for the RAF museums as many of his books feature force families.
