I borrowed this book from my library to check it out and have decided it is good enough to buy - I needed to look beyond the blurb that just regurgitates the general advantages of any slow cooker, and find a book that would give us recipes that we want to eat. I rely on our slow cooker because we are without a cooker for a while, and we like spicy dishes, so this seemed ideal. I've worked through the poultry section and have found lots to keep us happy. I've reached the limit of renewals on my library book so it's time to decide, and I think this one is worth buying. There may be better books, but in the mean time I can recommend this one.
