Great value -

These have proven a hit with my 8-year-old and 10-year-old, especially for project work they were doing at school. The illustrations are excellent, with all the little asides to look for, and the stories keep very much to the longer versions. My husband even referred to them for a resume of Shakespeare's A Winter Tale!!

"Excellent value for money" -

This set is really excellent value for money. My 6-year-old particularly enjoys the Sinbad and Green myths books so far, but I am sure he will enjoy these for the next few years. The comic strip style appeals to him as he learns to read.

"Marcia Willimas: Myths and Legends collection" -

Bought for my 7-year-old daughter last year - a fantastic collection and superb value for money at £1 per book! We go back to them over and over and will do so for a few years to come I've no doubt. Great introduction to Greek myths and legends, Shakespeare's plots, Bible stories, Chaucer's tales, real inventions and much much more... Have also used as teaching resources to summarise Shakespeare plays to 15 year olds! Am buying again to break up as going home presents. Would also make good individual 'stocking fillers'. Absolutely recommend.

"Marcia Williams Collection" -

Beautifully illustrated books of stories that are often inaccessible to children, giving them a fantastic introduction to these classic tales.

"Santa's Choice" -

I helped Santa buy books for the children at my local primary school. They all loved their Christmas gifts. These Marcia Williams books are brilliant for school topics and reluctant readers.
