This is a great fun flap book packed with interesting information about space, and the amazing things that float through it - stars, moons, comets, and the planets of our solar system. Each double-page spread has a stunning colour illustrations, and several flaps to lift to find out more about what's going on in the scene - such as what goes on inside the International Space Station, how astronauts visited the Moon and what they did there, as well as the history of astronomy, from Galileo to the Hubble Space Telescope.
Bought for our grandsons (3 years and 5 years old) who are mad about anything to do with space. It's a hardback book making it feel very sturdy and also having 'flaps' for the child to open, makes it that bit more exciting and different. I would highly recommend this book.
Fantastic for all ages -
We got this for our little boy, despite him being only 2 years old. He loves to read it with us and then takes it to bed, lifting the flaps and naming the objects underneath. The colours are great, there's lots to read about, and it's sturdy enough to withstand the hands of a toddler.
Highly Recommend! -
Bought it for my 5-year-old. The book is lovely with a lot of information. The flaps contain just the amount of information that can sustain the interest of a 5-year-old. In fact, I found it very interesting, too.
Full of flaps with lots of facts -
Great book to introduce space, lots of flaps with lots of facts and colourful pages to keep them intrigued. My daughter is 5 and my little boy, who is two, also loves it just for the big and small flaps.
