Judith Kerr created a best-loved children's classic with her story The Tiger Who Came to Tea, delighting generations of young children.
The gentle illustrations coupled with the slightly anarchic story have unbeatable child-appeal and make this a perfect book to read aloud. If you haven't invited the tiger into your home yet, do so without delay!
Toddlers from 1+ will love the big striped hero and his naughty antics.
Such a lovely story, maybe a little dated, but just right for bedtime reading, and the illustrations are delightful.
A delightful classic! -
I bought this book for my girls (now in their 30s) who loved it and I now enjoy sharing it with my grandchildren. My grandson is hooked on it!

Loved this book -
I've had this book since I was very young, not sure when I got it but definitely over 30 years ago; it's now a tatty little paper back but every time I see it, it fills me with warm nostalgia feelings for my childhood. You should definitely get this for the next generation to enjoy and pass on to their kids. Truly wonderful story.
Excellent twist on a normal day at home. My excuse is always that a tiger came to visit when we have no food in now.
Really like this book -
This is a fun book to read and really appealing. It is slightly old-fashioned/traditional in a way but, so what, it's a really charming story.
