The Usborne Children's Picture Atlas gives readers aged 3 and over an intriguing look at the world - from the hot African plains to the frozen Arctic tundra.
Featuring fun facts about countries and their capital cities, their famous landmarks, longest rivers and highest mountains - and with picture stories throughout as well - this is a brilliant home resource for young children as they begin to explore the wider world and the people and places within it.
With quiz questions to engage the reader and interesting objects to spot on the pages, this is a simple and appealing introduction to maps and different cultures for preschool children.
Bought this for my 4.5-year-old daughter who is fascinated by space and the Earth. She loves this book which discusses different kinds of landscape and maps of the continents and much more. Perfectly aimed at her age, I'm sure she'll get an awful lot from it for a few years to come. And for £2.99 it is an absolute bargain. I'd happily pay three or four times as much.
