Pippa loves staying with her Aunty Peggy. She loves going for walks, whether it's sunshiney or cold - long, wandering walks where her wellies take her.

Follow Pippa into the beautiful countryside as her day unfolds, and the wildlife, animals and people she encounters are complemented by relevant poems from some of our greatest authors, personally chosen by Clare and Michael Morpurgo.

Part poetry anthology, part child's scrapbook, the 2014 CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal-shortlisted Where My Wellies Take Me is lavishly designed to instil a love of language in young children.

Beautiful -

What a lovely book. Do not think it is just for children, this book is a library in itself. The poems are profound and the illustrations are gorgeous. The mixture of texts means there is so much more than meets the eye. I have bought four for gifts and am delighted- I wish I had bought one for myself as a mum and teacher. I agree it is a keepsake book.

Beautiful and unusual book -

A really, really lovely book that I bought for my own bookshelf even though I'm 50! I was brought up in the country and this book mirrored many of the games and wrongful times I had in the country. A most unusual book with maps and pieces that fold out it is what I would call a 'treasury' and definitely a lovely book to hand down the generations. The illustrations are fantastic and the writing as always is magical. ENJOY!
