This is one of those rare books that just dives into a child's imagination and gets everything exactly right - there's not a foot put wrong. The plot is great, the rhyme perfect, the illustrations gorgeous and the characters and their relationships beautifully laid out. Most importantly, children love it. I've read it to my own children many times now I don't get tired of it either and have tried it out on numerous other little ones: nieces, nephews, guests etc. They all giggle away at the antics. A classic waiting to be discovered.
Squishy McFluff: invisible but brilliant -
Squishy McFluff tells the story of Ava and her invisible eponymous cat and the mischief they get up to together. Written in perfect rhyme and accompanied by the most beautiful illustrations, Squishy McFluff is perfect for early readers its small format is ideal for little hands while also being a wonderful story for parents to read to/with younger children. Divided into three little chapters, the mischief in the story will appeal to children, while parents will appreciate the humour behind the narrative - of course, it's Ava who is causing all the chaos! Just lovely. My daughter and I are looking forward to the second book in the series already.
