Not Just Bread -

Nicely presented, easy-to-follow book which covers all the usual bread recipes and a few from the butchery side as well. Admittedly the recipes vary wildly in difficulty from how to make a cheese toasty to making your own sausages and smoker. However there are some tasty recipes and it's as much about inspiring you to give something a try that perhaps you would ordinarily buy from a supermarket.

"Fabulous Baking Book" -

My husband is a bread monster, and luckily I love to make it. We'd been watching the TV series and decided to get the book. The bread recipes are great, the pitta bread and burger baps are to die for. No more bought bread in our house. Will happily be making my way through this book. Best cookery book we've ever had, and we have hundreds!!!

"No pie recipes" -

Despite their pie wars each week, I was disappointed to find that the pie recipes aren't featured in the book. It is an otherwise lovely book, but I do get the feeling for the recipes to work at their best you need a baker's oven. I have made the sour dough and their butter is so easy to make and an excellent way of using up cream that is close to it's date. I wouldn't have paid full price for this book though.
