Miss Carter's War -

I enjoyed the story very much and I thought the descriptions of events covered between the end of WW2 and the 1980s added to my enjoyment. Well done Sheila.

Sorry. Not for me. -

Thought I would enjoy this after the blurb on the Book People. Sorry, it failed miserably.

It covers a period from WW2 to 1980s? Its rather laboured writing explaining events during that period, slows down the story so much, that in the end you don't care enough about the characters or what happens to them.
