Trains hold a fascination for just about everybody and this lift-the-flap history of locomotion tells it all from Stephenson's Rocket to the bullet trains of today. You can lift the flaps to explore all kinds of exciting trains, from a luxury steam train fit for a queen to super-fast trains that run on magnets, trains that can climb up mountains, and lots, lots more. Part of a collectable series of interactive information books.

My son loves this book -

My nearly 5-year-old son old got this book when he was 3 and loves it. He loves looking at all the pictures and lifting the flaps to see inside. He loves trains and has learnt many of their names which and can recognise which train is which in the book. It's definitely one of his favourite books.

Looked at time and time again -

This is a wonderful, informative book that my 5-year-old daughter loves. She is fascinated by how trains used to be and never gets bored looking under the flaps. These books are jam-packed with information and I would say suitable for boys or girls from 5-8 years. They make great birthday presents.

Lovely book -

My five-year-old autistic grandson loves this book, although it might be considered slightly old, as he can read a little he loves it! Will keep any child from five and up fascinated, especially if an adult sits and goes through it with them. Lots of flaps to lift up and pull down to see what's inside. If the child loves trains, this book is brilliant!
