Waste of money! -

I bought 2 of these for my daughters thinking it would help them with their tables, however I think this must be an American version. I learnt my tables and the kids are learning theirs at school as 1 x 2, 2 x 2, 3 x 2, 4 x 2 etc... this book is the other way around, 2 x 1, 2 x 2, 2 x 3, 2 x 4 etc. There is nothing to suggest on the book listing that this is the case, and as I think this will confuse their learning we won't be using them. Not impressed!

Great....times twelve. -

My child struggled with times tables, not really remembering them from one week to the next. This book engaged the imagination and is well loved. A super resource for helping with numbers at home in a fun and entertaining way.

'Best book ever' -

Never thought a times table book could be called the 'best book ever' but that is what my 5-year0old called this! He loves all the flaps and illustrations, especially the ones of pirates and planets. He thinks the little games at the back are great fun, too.

Lift-the-flap times-tables book -

Over the years I have bought a lot of times tables videos, DVDs CDs, books etc, which can be quite boring, but this is fantastic. My son loves it.

The flaps are great, it asks times-tables questions in a different way so more than bog standard 2 x 3. It asks you things like 'if 2 monkeys had 3 bananas each, how many would they have?' with lovely illustrations and games to play at the end with the flaps. Well worth the money. x

A Great Way to Encourage the Learning of the Times Tables -

We were told by my child's school to practise times tables at home. I found this book on the website and thought it looked just the ticket to start the ball rolling. When it arrived my child was so excited and hasn't put it down since. It has the times tables up to 12, lots of flaps to lift and really engages the child. We love this. Would fully recommend.
