Abridged -

These are a lovely collection of stories, well read, and massively abridged. There are two stories per CD, listed as only two tracks, so it is impossible to rewind to the beginning of a chapter. The stories are pleasant to listen too, but no more than that due to the somewhat jerky jumps in the storyline in places. Also they lose some of the original charm in the retelling. Not our favourite collection of audiobooks.

A must -

We have a great love for audiobooks and this collection is fantastic. All my kids (aged 6, 4 & 2) sit totally engrossed. The stories are beautifully told and are a nice length. They're also enjoyable for the adults in the car.

Highly recommended.
