Brilliant books if you want to keep Biff, Chip and Kipper in your child's life for a bit longer! -

Great set of books for independent readers.

My 6-year-old daughter loves them. Super interesting and good to introduce history to young kids. I think these books are aimed at slightly older children, there are some 'scary bits', perhaps not the best for night time reading if you have a younger/sensitive child!

Got it for a very good price!

An interesting read -

These were actually too difficult for my 6-year-old to read, but my 6- and 4-year-old wanted to have the stories read to them and were completely gripped by them.

Just be aware they do start at Oxford Reading Tree level 10. I'm sure my child will be reading them soon, especially with the incentive of an interesting storyline.

Fantastic collection -

My 6-year-old son is a 'free reader' at school and this collection of books has been amazing at improving his reading as it introduces more tricky words. He finds the stories interesting and my son is always enthusiastic about reading these.

Excellent for independent reading -

My 6-year-old loved reading these herself, then re-read them to her 4-year-old sister.

Great buy -

The stories are more complex but great for bedtime stories and then to reuse for independent reading. Also introduces lots of different topics not just history.
