Bright and Fun -

These books are fun and original. Great for any kid that is starting to get into dinosaur facts. Each story sets up a mission for Dylan to learn a new fact - like how many teeth the T-rex has or what a 'thagomizer' is. These books would be perfect for kids who might be just getting into non-fiction books or like to collect facts about things.

They are maybe a little bit difficult for kids 2.5 - 3 years old. The science-orientated/problem-solving approach to answering his research questions makes Dylan's stories a bit different from story based fantasy books like Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs. A great read and something different to put on the bookshelf.
